Some people out there may think that the old-school Mercury helmet that Jay Garrick wore doesn't go well with a more modern Flash costume. Well, such people are what I call 'wrong-thinkers'. Wrong-thinkers think wrong about lots of things. They think Aquaman doesn't 'rokk da box'. They think that Arm-and-hammer toothpaste is the best tasting thing you can put in your mouth. They even think that Roger Moore was the best Bond! Oh wrong-thinkers, will you ever learn?
Also of note to say, the Flash's powers come from the Speed Force, not his physical characteristics. That is how he can run at mach speeds yet stop on a dime without ripping his skin off. It's also how he can run up or through solid walls. The thing about the Flash is he can do anything as long as he is going fast enough. And the joke here is that by putting 'enough' in the statement, you can never be wrong. "Well he can't fire red-hot harpoons out his mouth," one might say. Oh yes he can, he just hasn't gone fast enough to do that yet.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
